Holy Cross Girl’s Hostel, Dimapur is situated in the lush green campus. When one lands in Dimapur, there is one location which is known by all the denizens, young and old alike, that is, Holy Cross Campus. It is in this famous campus lies the Holy Cross Girls Hostel catering to the academic, spiritual and whole being of over 12 girls entrusted to the care of the Bethany sisters. It is a home away from home.
The hostel was established in the year 1970 with an aim to look after girl children who need special care to realize their potential within so that they grow into someone who lives a responsible life. The inmates stay here precisely because there is a beautiful atmosphere created for them to pursue their studies. Unlike their home - where there is distraction in these modern times - the Holy Cross Hostel has a beautiful ambience for studies and other co-curricular activities. It is here they learn to know how to adjust with people of different temperaments, and taste.
The holy Eucharist nourishes their souls. It enables them to do their studies well. They are given sufficient opportunity to bloom through number of projects, homework, weekly tests and term exams.
From time to time the hostellers are given inputs on good manners, relationships, virtues and religion by the sisters. Hence the inmates are lucky to get prepared here to face the challenges of the future.
