Amidst grandeur and celebration, St. Michael's Girls’ Higher Secondary School marked its 98th Annual Day and bid farewell to retiring staff on January 30, 2025, with a vibrant showcase of events. Elegant lighting and decorations enhanced the school's ambiance, adding to the festive spirit. The ceremony commenced with a soulful prayer song by the school choir, followed by a warm and heartfelt welcome from Sr Preethi George BS, the Principal. Headmistress Sr. Sini M. Kurian BS then presented the annual report, providing a comprehensive overview of the school's accomplishments and progress throughout the year.
The event was graced by Rev. Sr. Judy Varghese BS, the esteemed Provincial Superior and Corporate Manager, who delivered an inspiring presidential address and paid a heartfelt tribute to the retiring staff. Renowned playback singer and proud alumni of the school, Mrs. Deepti Das, inaugurated the annual day function with grace and enthusiasm. Representatives from the Management, PTA, and Alumni bestowed heartfelt tokens of love upon the retiring staff, a cherished tribute to their unwavering dedication and invaluable service to the institution.
Kum. Arathi V Pramod, the School Leader, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude with grace and sincerity. The cultural events began with a mesmerizing prayer dance that left the audience spellbound. Following this, various dance performances based on core values captivated the audience. The school community came together wholeheartedly to ensure the event's success, drawing a large crowd that was enthralled by the energetic and captivating performances. As parents left the school with beaming smiles, they felt invigorated and inspired after an unforgettable evening of cultural celebration.
