March 04: The Parents’ Day celebration held at Bethany English Med HPS, Kilpady, Mulki on Thursday, 27th February 2025, was a heartwarming event that brought together students, parents, and teachers to acknowledge the vital role parents play in their children's education and overall development.
The event kicked off with a prayer song, followed by a lively welcome dance, and a thoughtful speech by Mrs. Mable Dsouza. In her address, she emphasized the importance of parental involvement in shaping both the academic and personal growth of students.
A highlight of the day was a series of cultural performances by students ranging from Pre-KG to UKG. These performances, including dances, songs, and speeches, showcased the immense talent and creativity of the young students and captivated the audience.
Mrs. Shanthi Maria Lobo then presented a PowerPoint showcasing the school’s activities for the academic year 2024-2025. The cultural program was ably hosted by UKG students Miss Rifa Mariyam and Mr. Yansh, who did an excellent job as masters of ceremony.

n addition to the performances, engaging interactive sessions and fun games were organized for the parents. The school also took the opportunity to present awards to the winners of the games, adding a lighthearted touch to the proceedings.
The event featured speeches from key figures, including Sr. Shalet Dsouza, who delivered the presidential address, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between home and school. Sr. Meena BS, the guest of honor, shared a message for the parents, urging them to continue nurturing and guiding their children. Mr. Chandru, representing the parents, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the management and teachers for their ongoing dedication to the students' well-being and growth.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Sr. Sujata Ekka, who expressed her appreciation for the efforts of the students, teachers, and parents in making the event a resounding success. It was a day filled with joy, mutual respect, and a renewed sense of partnership between the school and the parents.
To wrap up the celebration, juice and snacks were served to all attendees, leaving everyone with a warm and satisfying end to a memorable day.
