Nov19: A colourful rainbow was formed in the campus of St Joseph's High School, K R Nagar on16th November 2018 as we celebrated Children's Day. The celebration began with a prayer service conducted by sisters and teachers. The Cabinet leaders lit the diya and paid tribute to the portrait of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. The teachers performed a colorful dance which was awesome.
There was also a song to wish the children on this auspicious day and a meaningful skit was played by the teachers which children enjoyed themselves. The students responded with a thunderous applause appreciating the performance of the teachers.
Sr Betty the Headmistress and Sr Simon the Correspondent congratulated and applauded the efforts of the teachers. They thanked the Lord for the gift of children especially the ones entrusted to their care in the school.
The children expressed love and gratitude to the teachers and the management for organizing their day with a wonderful entertaining programme. It was indeed a unique and meaningful celebration.
