World Mental Health Day is observed on 10 October every year, with the overall objective of raising awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilizing efforts in support of mental health. “Your mental health is a priority. Your happiness is essential. Your self-care is a necessity.”
Having understood the importance of mental health in our personal life as well as in our students, Stella Maris Convent School, Civil lines Sultanpur organized the various activities on 10.10.2020. Student of Ist Standard. Students made a poster on the ‘Different Emotions’ and students of class II- V made an inspiring poster on ‘Mental Health’ and created awareness to one another.
Some of the Teachers shared the story highlighting the different components of the mental wellbeing. They focused on unhealthy food habits and Junk food which can cause the mental illness. Teachers created awareness among the students through questions and narrated the stories.
