Nov 19: November 13th was a memorable day for the students at St. Raymond Eng Med Higher Primary School, Vamajoor, as we celebrated the Annual Sports Day which was marked with great enthusiasm and energy. The event was presided over by Dr. Sr Mariola, who emphasized the importance of staying physically fit through active participation in sports and activities. Our Chief Guest, Mr. Naveen Julian Rego, reminisced about his childhood and commended the students for their discipline and the impressive display of exercises, marching, and rhythmic band performances.
Sr Lavita, the Headmistress, warmly welcomed the guests. Sr Vithalis, the Superior of St. Raymond Convent, along with Sr Vidya Pinto, Sr Jessy Crasta, Sr Anita Lydia, and Sr Shanthi Flavia, graced the occasion. The PTA Vice President, Mr Ikbal Hassan, along with the Executive Members, lent their support, ensuring the success of the program.
The school faculty worked tirelessly to make the day a grand success. Later in the afternoon, volleyball, throwball, and tug-of-war were organized for parents and teachers, fostering a strong bond between the school and its community. It was heartwarming to see a large number of parents participating and enjoying the event. The day concluded joyously as students, parents, and teachers came together to dance, creating lasting memories for all.
