March 31: It was a joyous day for the Josephite family when the President of Bethany Educational Society ® Mangalore Rev. Sr Rose Celine BS along with Sr Cleopha BS, Administrator of Mother House and Sr Anitha Shanthi, the Correspondent of our school visited St Joseph’s High School, Kankandy Mangalore on the 15 March 2021. They were welcomed with the school band. The programme began with a prayer service, welcome dance, English Skit ‘Ekalavya’ and Kannada Skit ‘Corona Gellona’. As the Bethany Congregation celebrated Centenary year, the honourable guests paid floral tribute to our founder RFC Mascarenhas. Mrs Sylvia Geetha Dsouza, the Headmistress welcomed the guests with flower bouquets. The president of the programme Rev. Sr Rose Celine addressed the gathering about her experiences during pandemic. She was grateful to God for saving us from Covid-19. She put up a video of helping hand given to those days by the Bethany. Sr Rose Celine asked the students to speak about their experiences of Covid-19. Five students shared their experiences and they were given cash prize ` 200/- to each. She stressed in her message that we should be compassionate and loving. Truly it was a day of insight and reflection.
