June 04: Inauguration of Pre- KG block at St Theresa’s School to implement experiential learning for the toddlers.
‘Pre kg is a special place where little things mean a lot. ‘4th June 2022 will always be celebrated in the Mile stones laid at St Theresa’s School. It was a beautiful morning when the Pre- Schoolers entered the school campus with their tiny little feet accompanied by their parents and grandparents.
The chief guest Rev Sr Mariette, the correspondent of St Theresa’s School , Rev Fr Vincent Monteiro, the parish priest, St Sebastian Church, Bendur along with Rev SrAnithaShanthi, the Superior, Bethany Mother House, Sr Lourdes, the Principal and Sr Caron, the vice principal were escorted by the school band.
Sr Mariette inaugurated the pre- school block. To seek the blessings from the Lord, the Diya was lit by the dignitaries along with the parent, teacher and toddlers. Thereafter Fr Vincent Monteiro later blessed the block followed by a prayer. The joy enhanced the premises when the twenty six tiny tots along with the dignitaries later released colourful balloons unitedly symbolising a happy and colourful start.
A formal program was organized in the school main hall and the tiny tots were invited to the stage and welcomed with a rose.
Sr Lourdes accorded a warm welcome to the dignitaries and the gathering. She thanked Sr Mariette for her selfless service rendered as the correspondent of St Theresa’s School. She assured that this Pre -School will certainly unveil the kid’s capability and create joy in their pre-school life.
Sr Mariette addressed the gathering with great joy and hope. She said that on the threshold of the 26th year of the school, St Theresa’s was blessed to inaugurate the pre- kg block with the first admission of twenty six tiny tots. As St Theresa’s School is a reputed esteemed brand in the city, this pre- school will surely help to meet up to the curiosity and imagination of the pre- schoolers and take them to greater heights. She thanked the parents for believing and choosing this institution.
A cultural program brightened the day’s program. The program concluded with the singing of the national anthem.
