Sep 16: St. Theresa’s school celebrated Teachers’ Day on Sept. 5,2022 in a very decently innovated way which was not only a pot Pourri of an outing, watching a movie, playing games and enjoying mouth-watering food but loads of fun ‘n’ frolic also. The staff gathered in school, from where in three luxury buses all went to Divine City Centre, Kurukshetra. All enjoyed watching Akshay Kumar and Bhoomi Padnekar’s movie, “Rakshabhandhan” – a neat, humorous but very meaningful tale with a strong message to empower girls to fight social evils like dowry, eve – teasing and preference of male child in a stereo – typed patriarchal Indian society. No doubt, this family drama is worth watching. A light refreshment was enjoyed by all. From there, all went for Riyasaat – a resort in the outskirts of Kurukshetra. Arrival drinks refreshed all and everyone got involved in games followed by the Principal Sister Priya Therese’s short and sweet message. After which all shook their selves in two different groups of females and males dancing on the famous songs. The monitored brevity ensured the time bound programme which ended with a delicious food offering taste and variety of culinary. Around 4:00 pm all reached the school campus. At the end of the day, the staff was very ecstatic as it was a celebration after a long gap of corona. Everybody thanked the Principal for the outing as well as very thoughtful and useful gift.
