March 11: Sr Santhosh Maria, the Secretary to the Superior General of Bethany Congregation and Sr Shaila, the Correspondent of St Theresa’s School, visited the School for the yearly inspection. They were warmly welcomed by the School band after which they were led to the School ground where all the students from Pre KG to Grade 9 were present for the special assembly in honour of this visit. The students invoked God's blessings through a prayer service. The rhythmic welcome dance by the students warmly welcomed the dignitaries to the School. Sr Lourdes, the Principal introduced the guest and accorded a warm welcome with her lovely words and flower sapling. Mrs Veena Lasrado, a faculty member and Master Allen Rasquinha briefed the dignitaries about the working of the school and appreciated the Management for the utmost care given to the development of the School.
She spoke to the students and highlighted one main point - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. She stressed on the importance of listening to parents and teachers for their wellbeing. The assembly ended with the singing of the national anthem.Then held an interactive session with the faculty members in 3 groups. Sister expressed her findings and appreciated the entire team for working industriously, upholding high standards with an absolute commitment to improve the educational process.
She ended the meeting by offering a short prayer for the faculty members and their families. The staff and students had a memorable and wonderful time today.
