Dec 18: Bethany English Medium Higher Primary School, Mulki celebrated Pre - Primary Annual Day and Prize Distribution Day of Pre - Primary and Primary Section on 15 December, 2023 with fervor and exuberance.
Indeed we were greatly privileged by the presence of Sr Mariola BS – The Deputy Secretary of Bethany Educational Society and Correspondent, Bethany and Madeleine Institutions, Kilpady, Mulki, Mrs. Damayanthi as President, Vice President, Kilpady, Mulki as a Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Ronald D Silva SVD, HOD, Divine Media, Divine Call Centre, Karnad as Guest of Honour, Mr. Deepak, Manager, Canara Bank, Karnad, as Guest of Honour, Lion Prathibha Hebbar, active member of Lions Club Bappanadu Inspire and Lion N Sudhir Baliga, President of Lions Club Bappanadu Inspire – as Guests of Honour and Sr Rita Sharal BS our beloved Headmistress.
The programme commenced with a prayer song by students’ choir and a welcome dance by the students. The winners of various co-scholastic and cultural competitions conducted during the academic year 2023-24 were rewarded with prizes. The outstanding achievers in academics and sports were honoured with endowment prizes.
The Chief Guest Mrs. Damayanthi in her speech encouraged students to build up their career well and make use of the opportunities given. The Guest of Honour Rev. Fr. Ronald Dsilva SVD blessed and encouraged the students with his presence. He reminded the audience about the importance of the Education and co – curricular activities which play an important role in the life of every child to exhibit their talents.
The President of the programme Sr Mariola BS in her address opined that education is a continuous process and education earns wisdom only if academics are not taken as the end but a means to progress.
The cultural programme enthralled everyone; the audience was awestruck with the talent and skill revealed in each performance. There were feet tapping Dances and Christmas tableau.
The programme was concluded with the Bethany Anthem.
Mrs. Preethika Pinto welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Shashikala conveyed the words of gratitude and Mrs. Preema Dmello anchored the programme.
