June 13: "Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.” Psalm 100: 4.
An inaugural mass for the staff and students for the academic year 2024-25 was offered on 10th June, 2024, at St. Sebastian Church, Bendur. It was a solemn and reverent occasion. The Principal Celebrant for the Eucharistic celebration was Rev. Father Walter Dsouza, the Parish Priest of Bendur. The Management, Principal, staff and students from grades LKG to X gathered around the Eucharistic Table to express gratitude for the numerous blessings received and to praise the Lord for the 100% results in the ICSE board exams for the academic year 2023-2024.
The celebrant initiated his homily by engaging the students with a thought-provoking question regarding the source of joy and happiness in their lives. He articulated that happiness, often transient, finds its true sustenance solely in Jesus Christ. Drawing from the gospel passage, he emphasized the significance of embracing the Beatitudes as a pathway to genuine happiness. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of fostering appreciation for one another, highlighting it as a catalyst for happiness.
The entire school community joined together to offer prayers and intentions for divine guidance and blessings as they embarked on the journey of a new academic year.
The melodious voices of the school choir members soared, resonating through the sacred space as they offered harmonious praise and adoration. Their angelic singing elevated the atmosphere, infusing the gathering with a sense of reverence and spiritual connection.
The Eucharist Celebration concluded with words of gratitude to all those who made it possible to organize the mass and all the faithful who participated.
