July 13: Sacred Hearts' Higher Primary English Medium School, Kulshekar celebrated Vanamahotsav on 12th July 2024 in the school premises. The aim to celebrate the festival of trees was to bring awareness about the harm caused by the cutting down of trees and to encourage the students to plant more trees as they play a vital role in maintaining ecological balance. The students performed a tree act skit, depicted by planting the saplings followed by a nature song.
On this occasion saplings were planted by the students along with the guests. It created a sense of community involvement, environmental consciousness, the importance of protecting and caring for the mother earth. The celebration concluded with the promise ‘One Child One Plant’ for 2024-25. As a part of this celebration each student will plant one sapling at home and send the photo to the class teacher.
