July 25: On the 15th of July a day before the Foundation Day of the Congregation all the students of Jyothi Institutions gathered with great reverence to celebrate the 103 Foundation day of the Congregation. It was really a joy to see all the students of all the institutions of Jyothi Campus gathering for this celebration in the Jyothi College Auditorium. Sr. Shahna the Provincial Superior and the Corporate Manager of Bangalure Province was the Chief Guest of the Day. Sr. Winnifred Mascarenhas , the Asst. Provincial Superior, the Correspondent , Sr. Precilla the Local Superior and all the heads of the institutions, specially all the Sisters involved in the educational apostolate were the guests of honour.
With a beautiful prayer dance and welcome dance the programme began. A skit on the initial zeal to begin the apostolate was presented. Each school presented one item for the programme. Sr. Shahna in her speech spoke on the need to build our lives on the values preached by the Founder RFC Mascarenhas. A beautiful tribute was paid to the Founder by singing the Bethany Anthem and a song prepared by one of the staff members.
The students were in rapt attention during the programme and they also honoured the sisters with gratitude on the 103 birth of Bethany.
A day to be remembered in the annuals of the Institutions.
