St Theresa’s School proudly celebrated the exceptional achievements of its students at a prestigious scholarship award ceremony, recognizing their talents and hard work across academics, arts and sports. The event was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Dominic Rosario, along with Sr. Shaila, Correspondent of St Theresa’s School, Principal Sr. Lourdes, and PTA Vice President Mrs. Collete Cabral, who jointly honoured the young achievers on stage.
To inspire young talent and celebrate exceptional achievements at the state and national levels, a special recognition ceremony was held. These awards were accompanied by cash prizes, generously sponsored by Mrs. Deviprabha in memory of her daughter, Prateeka Alva (2010 batch). Mrs. Deviprabha, an Associate Professor of Commerce at St. Agnes College, Mangalore, is known for her contributions to education and skill development.
A group of exceptional individuals were recently honored for their outstanding achievements across various fields, including sports, music, and academics. These remarkable talents excelled at national and state levels, securing top positions in disciplines such as surfing, table tennis, swimming, chess, cricket, speed skating, and athletics. From impressive medal wins to remarkable contributions in the arts and cinema, their hard work and dedication have set new benchmarks for excellence. Additionally, one athlete was specially recognized for their extraordinary performance in athletics, having clinched multiple medals in prestigious competitions, showcasing their exceptional commitment and skill.
A special Recognition for Saneeha Shetty
The event also paid tribute to Saneeha Shetty, an extraordinary athlete who was honoured with the Best Outgoing Student in Sports Award for her exceptional achievements:
Silver Medal in the 400m at the CISCE National Meet.
Gold in 400m and 200m at the State-Level CISCE Meet.
Bronze in 600m at the State Junior National Meet and Silver at the South Zone Athletic Meet.
Gold in the 4×100m and 4×400m relays at the CISCE National Meet.
Saneeha was presented with a trophy sponsored by Mr. Goutham Shetty, Chairman of Torpedoes Cricket Club and President of the Tennis Ball Cricket Association, Udupi, along with a cash prize from the school management as a token of appreciation for her dedication and contributions to the school’s sporting legacy.
