Nov 22: As part of educational field trip, Loyola Convent School, Gadag organized a days visit to Wind Mill in the out skirts of Gadag.
About 170 students, Headmistress Sr Veronica, and Teachers travelled to Harthi to know about the electricity generation through Wind Mill. Mr Sameer, the site In-charge explained the process and gave us the information regarding power generation. Per hour 800 K.W. of electricity is produced which is supplied to Hubli and Gadag cities. This experience created in us an awareness to use more inexhaustible resources. All had a wonderful experience and marvelled at the way electricity is generated.
