July 14: The school celebrated Bethany Foundation day with great joy. Mrs Vinodini was the chief guest of the function. Sr Sally the headmistress gave a brief history of the Congregation.
The students enacted the Bible passage regarding Jesus visiting Martha and Mary. As Mary chose the better part to listen to the Word of God, Rev. Father Raymond Francis Camillus Mascarenhas also chose the better part and brought changes in the society. Along with reverend father there were four sisters - called Mother Martha, Sr Clare, Sr Lourdes, Sr Gertrude who served the poor in rural places.
We pray that this institution may grow in number and merit.
