July 22: Under the Guidance of Dakishna Kannada Bharath Scouts and Guides ‘Thrithiya Sopana’ testing Camp was held in Bethany English Medium High school, Darbe Puttur from 22 July to 24th July. The Testing camp was inaugurated by lighting the Diya by the District Commissioner Dr M.G Mohan at 4.30pm.
He Motivated the Students to Receive Rastrapathi Scout and Guides award from the President of India which is a highest honour in the cadet. He encouraged the students to Participate in planting the Sapling and help the Gov’t in Grow Green Policy.
The Secretary of Local Association of Bharath Scout and Guides Mr Sridhar Rai and Asst- Secretary Vidya R. Gowri Sought the Co-operation of Students to full-fill the dream of Gov’t and also Wished bright Future. Sr Emerita, the Headmistress welcomed the gathering and spoke about National and International movement of Bharath Scout and Guides. Sr Saritha, the Correspondent appreciated the work of Bharath Scout and Guides. Bharath Raj. K District organizer proposed the vote of thanks.
270 Students, 40 Examiners and 35 scout Masters and Guide Captains of District of Dakshina Kannada Participated in Thrithiya Sopana testing camp. Various activities such as Flag construction, First Aid, Rangoli, Clay Modeling, Hiking, cooking without fire etc. were conducted during the three days. Testing Camp, Students got lot of experience. The officers and the staff of District Bharath Scout & Guides appreciated the arrangements made by the Bethany Institution.
