Nov 16: It was indeed a glad day for all of us at Bethany Secondary School, Tanzania as we saw the fresh buds of our missionary work blooming and bearing fruit. The dawn of 11 November was awakened with the joy and contentment for us sisters in Tanzania because on this day six students from our school boarding, received baptism and 11 students received first Holy Communion in our School hall. They were prepared for the reception of this Sacrament by the new blooms of our Congregation, the Candidates. With regular classes on Christian Faith and catechism the students were geared up to enter into Catholic Church and to receive Jesus in their heart. Rev. Fr Hilary, the parish priest of Kifaro Parish officiated the Holy Eucharist and administered these sacraments to the students in the presence of sisters, teachers and students. Children were beaming with smile at the coming of Jesus in their hearts. Kudoes!!! to Sr Antonette the Superior and all the members of the community.
