Dec 06: Every child is a precious gift from above and will definitely remain the pride of his/her parent’s eyes. In keeping with this feeling, the Management and Staff of St. Theresa’s School organised a Interaction Session and Parents Day for classes 1, LKG and UKG.
Dr. Caroline D’Souza addressed the parents on both the days on the topic “Good Parenting skills”. It was a successful talk which helped the parents to get more insight into themselves to bring up their children in this present technological age. A few parents raised their doubts and it was well answered by Dr Caroline.
Later the students performed colourful dances and action songs for their parents which helped the parents’ eyes to be glued to the stage. There was a prayer session which had readings from the Bible, Quran and Bhagvad Gita. This was followed by a Prayer song, action songs and dances by the kids. The entire program was mesmerising and the parents appreciated the teachers for the tremendous effort put in training their children to perfection.
The Principal, Sr. Premitha addressed the gathering and thanked the parents for their whole hearted support. Class 1 students program was compared by two students – Jenessa and Aneek. The program of LKG and UKG was anchored by Mrs. Roshni Das and Mrs. Lidwin Pinto.
Thus the program ended with the vote of thanks by Jashith and Gaurav of class 1, LKG and UKG by Mrs. Gladys Lobo.
