India is a vast country with “Unity in diversity”. It is combined of 29 States, 1618 languages, 6400 castes, 6 religions and 6 ethnic groups. “We are all proud to be an Indian’s” was the theme on 26th January in St Antony’s school. St Antony’s Hr Pry School celebrated the 69th Republic day which honoured the date on which our constitution came into effect. It was a day of pride for us. The programme began with the welcome to our Headmistress Sr Tina who was the chief guest for the proggramme. The programme was followed by hoisting the National Flag, Flag salute and march past which identified national pride and spirit of nationalism. Cultural programme included tri-coloures stepping to the rhythmic band, exercises with hoofs and dumbles, songs and speeches highlighted the importance of the day and Swatch Bharath Abhiyan. Sr Tina, the chief guest addressed the students and staff with inspirational words, about team spirit and unity.
