This academic year St. michael’s family is bidding farewell to its’ four unforgettable teaching staffs. They through their words and deeds, leave behind them a legacy that transcends the classroom, shaping the fabric of students’ world with wisdom, and compassion.
Dr. Rajeev NJ, an alumnus with 33 years of service, has earned numerous accolades, including being the first teacher at St. Michael’s to earn a Ph.D. in Education. His contributions to the field of mathematics and his representation of the school on state and national platforms are legendary. Mrs. Geetha Mathew, with 35 years of nurturing young minds in the primary section, is fondly remembered for her gentle approach, her passion for singing, and her ability to inspire joy and creativity in her students. Mrs. Mariya Claris, who served for 34 years, instilled values like respect, kindness, and sharing in the hearts of her students, remaining actively involved in all school activities throughout her career. Lastly, Mrs. Beena R, who spent 32 years teaching mathematics, inspired her students not only with her knowledge but with her discipline and love for the subject. Each of these teachers has shaped the lives of countless students, creating a legacy that will continue to influence future generations at St. Michael’s. Their retirement marks the end of an era, but their contributions and the impact they’ve made will live on in the memories and hearts of all who have had the privilege of learning from them.
