Dec 01: VU Bethany College, Namsai Arunachal Pradesh affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Central University, Itanagar Arunachal has once again obtained its yearly feat bagging 4 Gold Medals in the recently conducted Semester examinations -2020 of the final year students. A life time achievement of our students has steadily procured a top position in the university in academics. True to its motto – “Excellence in Transformative education”, the college has made a colossal leap within 6 years of its establishment.
Ms Ajam Mossang bagged the Gold Medal in BCom with Accounting and Finance as the honours, Master Luceng Manchey in Geography, Ms Ahhie Megha in Sociology and Ms Kimto Jugli in History. The ascendancy in academics through a focused vision resulted in such a huge victory. The college has been a cradle of competitive axis for many young students who motivate themselves to attain many milestones that lead towards a remarkable success in life besides forming themselves in character and personality.
Venerable Uktara Bethany College accommodates students from 8 districts of Arunachal Pradesh with 15 tribes that makes the institution a confluence of learning and cultures of the land of the Rising Sun. Under the aegis of the Bethany Charitable Trust of Guwahati Province of the Congregation, it has received much patronage. Thanks to the generous support of Sr Rose Celine, the Superior General and the Council, Sr Joy, the former Provincial Superior and the Council , Sr Sandhya and the team of Guwahati Province, Bishop George Pallipparambil, the bishop of Miao Diocese, Sr Noeline the founding member to keep the institute progressing.
