St Martha’s Kannada Higher Primary School that was started in 1953 has been receiving grant in aid from the Government. Today it enjoys the fruit of the labours of past sisters and teachers with 16 sections and 20 staff members under the leadership of Sr Reema, providing the children, opportunities in outdoor activities and competitions besides the regular curriculum. The students represent the institution in cultural, co-curricular, sports and games activities conducted by various organizations bringing credit to the Institution.
To facilitate the all-round education and to meet the present challenges, the school has introduced computer education for all students.
The dedicated staff enthusiastically works shoulder to shoulder to communicate the BES Values through different programmes and skills. The children attend the school, learn the skills needed for life and above all learn to live in community and cultivate values of relating to others, leading towards communal harmony.
Total strength of the school is 500. The Institution aims at helping every student, who passes through the portals of this school, learn to experience fullness of life by being compassionate, to be educated not by mere information but by building harmony with all and showing concern to others considering others as one’s brothers and sisters.
