Rajaulatu is a village located about 17 km away from Ranchi. It is a land of rich resources of minerals with a number of mines. Jharkhand was the part of Bihar State; after the partition, the development of this State is taking place gradually.
Bethany Convent School, Rajaulatu was opened on 4 March 2013 with 30 children in Nursery, LKG and UKG. It was the desire of the localities to have an English Medium School as it was difficult to send their tiny tots to Ranchi. His Eminence Cardinal Telesphore P. Toppo the Archbishop of Ranchi invited the Sisters to educate the children. Sr Rose Rita was appointed as the Principal.
On 21 April 2014 the newly constructed KG Block of Bethany Convent School was inaugurated by Sr Shaila the Provincial Superior of Eastern Province and blessed by Fr. Anand Bhengra the parish priest of Rajaulatu.
It is a growing school and has reached up to VII Std. Imparting quality education systematically has been our success so far. Children are guided and helped to make projects and learn by doing. The students work hard to perform well in their academic studies. They are talented, eager to explore and learn new things. They discover their talents and abilities by participating in co-curricular activities. To foster communion and team spirit various orientation programmes, national festivals, cultural feasts, inter-house activities, competitions such as - poster making, poem and essay writing, Speech etc, save environment by planting trees in the school premise, and awareness is given to the students regarding cleanliness, manual work, and respect other religion and culture, is fostered. Student’s health is taken care by giving them preventive measures for measles and given awareness for other health hazards. Daily assemblies based on different themes make the students to gain self confidence and be creative. It helps not only to students but teachers as well.
The school provides God experience to both students and staff through various National as well as Religious celebrations. Importance is given to significant occasion to observe namely Girl Child Day, Labour Day, Samvidhan Diwas, Guru Nanak Jayanti etc. Personality development programmes are conducted through Value Education creatively based on Bethany’s Core values.
Bethany recognizes the unlimited possibilities for positive interaction, growth and development through craft classes that involve art, sport, dance, games etc. Bethany Convent School, has started sheltering, nesting and nurturing the poor and needy students of the near and far away villagers. Students have moved to the newly constructed school building, spacious well furnish three story building with awaited creating a spacious play ground.
Today our hearts is filled with gratitude to see the blooming life on Bethany campus which was only a barren land 7 years ago. Bethany is sought after in Partadih, Rajaulatu for an empowerment, life witness and compassionate heart to everyone.
Bethany Convent School, Rajaulatu, is affiliated to CBSE Board, New Delhi, from Nursery to XII (Arts & Commerce). It is a co-educational school that caters to the children of neighbouring villages within a radius of 10 km. Class IX students will be enrolled in the CBSE Board from session 2024-2025, and admission to Class XI is open for the Arts & Commerce Streams.
The school has all the facilities: a well-equipped Library, Composite Science Lab, Computer Lab, Smart Rooms, a sports activity room, and a spacious playground. The school focuses on holistic growth and the development of students in curricular and extracurricular activities.
