The Bethany Educational Society ® Mangalore was running Aided Madeleine Hr Pry and Madeleine High School at Mulki for many decades. The people of the locality felt that there is an English Medium School by the Bethany Sisters. It remained as a dream for some years. Later this dream was represented to the BES Management by the parents. In response to their appeal, the Bethany English Medium Higher Primary School was established on 1st June 2005. In the beginning classes were conducted in the Technical School at the Madeleine Convent premises. Sr Regina took up the challenge of heading this institution with 11 students enrolled for Std I, 6 for UKG and 10 for LKG classes. At present Sr Mariola is the Correspondent and Sr Rita Sharal is the Headmistress of the school.
