The prestigious enterprise - Sacred Heart Convent International School, Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana was established on April 1, 2017, before which the school was running for 3 years as C.B.S.E.-International, with a curriculum that was a promising branch of Central Board of Education and was nurtured with the tireless efforts of Sr. Chantal, the then Principal (Sacred Heart Convent School). However, due to unstated circumstances, the International Branch was dissolved by C.B.S.E and on the request of the parents to the management, a new international board was sought. The idea of collaborating with an International Board was perceived due to the ever increasing number of parents seeking admission for their wards to international universities and, in order to continue the international curriculum and the standard of education.

The foundation of this school is based on the principle of Global Education, with a mission to be globally competitive yet sustaining the local relevance of the education provided. As Bethany Core Values strengthen our foundation, this collaborative international curriculum aims in making education a cognitive and highly productive zone. It was a formidable yet rigorous pursuit initiated by Sr. Reshmi, the then Principal (Sacred Heart Convent School), and Sr. Maria Leena, the Co-ordinator, which finalized the Cambridge International Board as the curriculum outline and carved a memorable chapter in the History of Our Incredulous Institution.

At the onset, Classes I to VII were initiated thereby with the prospect of a subsequent promotion to the successive class every year. Climbing the rungs on the ladder of success, the Principals- Sr Maria Leena (2017-18), Sr Vanitha Veena (2018-19) and currently Sr Shanthi Dsouza (2019-till date) have been the ardent supporters and vigilant administrators to lead the institution to newer heights. And thus today, 2020, we have already expanded till Class X and with a total of 566 students, 40 teaching staff, 3 non-teaching staff and 7 class IV employees.

Starting with the state–of-art infrastructure, Wi-Fi enabled environment, including the ICT lab and air conditioned classrooms, we progressed to reach felicitous atmosphere conducive to education and global standard, and the school is presently affiliated to Cambridge Assessment International Education (Centre IN 168). With increased demand to be the pioneers in international education standard at ground – level, we also introduced Kindergarten School in the year 2018, and have been successfully running our K.G. -programme with a resounding success.

Today, with strenuous efforts and dedication, we have achieved a respectable level in the educational society, wherein seeking admission to our deemed institution is a much SOUGHT – AFTER process; widely reflected in our admission applications. Our first batch of standard X-students shall be appearing for their IGCSE examination in the year 2021, March -series; which itself is a building block to cross over the threshold and reach international standard of secondary education and certification.
