Western Province

Presentation Convent Lower/Higher Primary English Medium School, Dharwad with classes I to V came into existence on 1 June 2016. In the first year itself there were 101 students on roll. This school with CBSE syllabus was the new venture of the Western Province to impart transformative education for fullness of life and to empower girls to take a rightful place in the society. The school is located at Saidapur, near K C Park, Dharwad, Karnataka.

Sr. Sylvia was appointed as the first Principal of the school. Over the years the school is grown and to affiliated to CBSE Board in the year 2017. It was upgraded to secondary level in the year 2020. At present the strength of the school is 480 and has classes from 1 to IX, in the first batch of students will appear for Board exam, in the year 2022.

The school provides education for girls and offers excellent facilities to excel in integrated, value oriented education and extra-curricular activities. The Students are enabled to take part at the State and National level competitions. The dedicated and qualified faculty takes personal care of the children and endeavours to see that each child grows up to be a noble citizen of the country

The school organizes outreach programme each year. The students visit Mamata School, a school of students with special needs. They also give programmes in central jail, Dharwad Cleanliness of the neighborhood is their special features too.
