Western Province

Londa is situated in Malnad region of Western Ghats. It is in Belagavi district and at the border of Goa and Maharastra States. Most of the people are daily wage labourers. Though economically poor, yet they desired to have an English Medium School in the locality. In view of fulfiling their desire, Sr. Rose Ann BS the then Provincial Superior initiated the English Medium sections from VI Standard onwards. The already existing Kannada Medium Higher Primary School could to accommodate the English Medium Students on the I floor with the help of the local Convent Superior Sr. Juliana Mary and Sr. Suhasini BS the Headmistress. Thus the school with 28 students was opened on 1st June 2015 with Sr. Lysetta as the first Headmistress.

As the permission was granted to start IX and X Std by the Commissioner of Educational Department, Dharwad on 09.11.2018. Sr. Veditha BS as the Correspondent and Sr Judith BS as the Headmistress work hard to bring up this school. 31 students of the I batch answered the SSLC Examination in June - July 2020, securing 71% out of which 18 students obtained I Class and 4, II Class.

The school with its motto, Transformative Education for Fullness of Life serves to offer the quality education. The staff is dedicated and works hard to bring up the children with single minded devotion.

The school organizes various curricular and co-curricular activities. Students are encouraged to participate in Sports at Taluk and District levels and have returned with several prizes, in Science and Mathematics exhibition, Rangoli, Debate, Quiz, Essay Writing, Painting, Drawing and Public Speaking etc. The national and major religious festivals are given importance. Programmes like Swatch Bharat, Vanamahostav, Election Procedure (Prabhat Fheri) World Environment Day, Girl Child Day, Constitution and National Integration Day, have created positive impact on students.
