Kindergarten School was established under the Abhyudaya Kendra Society, Santibastwad in the year 2012. The need was felt to have KG School at Santibastwad,. as people had no opportunity to educate their children in an English Medium School. Initially Sr. Luciani BS served as the Headmistress giving her best with commitment. The KG school eventually Sacred Heart English Medium School was in 2018. The permission to start the school from Std I to VIII was received in the year 2018, while Sr. Jason BS was the first Headmistress and Sr Thresiamma BS the Correspondent. Currently Sr. Roshni Fernandes BS is rendering her services as the Headmistress.
Keeping in mind the core values of Bethany Educational Society, we strive to impart education for fullness of life. Genuine efforts are made to raise the standard of the school; year after year.
The Servant of God, Msgr. Raymond Mascarenhas Founder of the BES had visited this place in the year 1945 and had opened a school for the upliftment of the poor and the marginalized of the society. The rural poor got educated by him.
Through the constant support of the Management, staff, and local people, Sacred Heart stands as an icon of knowledge.
