Nov 14: Today we celebrate the birthday of Jawaharlal Nehru which is marked as Children’s Day. On this day dear teachers every student looks forward something beautiful from you. Make your students feel great and happy today. They are innocent souls dear to God and are guarded by his Angels. They are gifts given to us by their parents to be formed and moulded, to be cared and loved. Look at the charm, innocence, goodness and purity that shines through their eyes and hearts. Make their feeble hands secure and trembling knees strong. Make them what they aspire to be in spite of many inconveniences on your way.
You are aware of the disparity in our society today; the rich are provided with many opportunities and the poor are deprived of even the basic amenities. As educators of the Bethany Educational Society we have an obligation to bring good news to the children who are poor and neglected, on whose faces no smile seen, in whose minds no light shines, in whose hearts no hope twinkles, in whose bodies no health sparkles, in whose dreams no passion gleams. Make our children happy and provide them with conducive ambience to live freely and joyfully. Celebrate their day today.
Dear students, I wish you a very happy children’s day. You are like the uncut diamond which has to be chiselled to bring out the brilliance of the precious stone. Allow your teachers to chisel the unwanted elements in you in the process of bringing out the hidden diamond. Have a great day today filled with fun and joy. Learn new things, explore higher things and become noble and great! God bless you little stars of Bethany!
