Oct 05: Prayatan Parv 2018, a great initiative by Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with other Ministries of India. The objective was to draw focus on benefits of Tourism. The main theme was based on ‘DEKHO APNA DESH’, ‘ATULYA BHARAT’ and ‘INCREDIBLE INDIA’.
This year Prayatan Parv had been organized from 13 Sep to 27 Sep 2018 across the country. And I feel really blessed to be a part of this festival at Rajpath Lawn, Delhi for complete 15 days.
For this NZCC (North Zone Cultural Centre) specially designed and composed a unique dance, especially folk dances from all over India.
Teams from 18 States of our country participated in this event. Being an assistant of main Choreographer (Ms Suchitra Mitra, renown Bharat Natyam Dancer) of this project of NZCC was truly hard but great job as well. A different journey I experienced and now carrying a great wholesome knowledge of so many rich and vibrant dance forms from all over India, specially Bihu from Assam, Chapeli from Uttarakhand, Dogri from Kashmir, Pungcholam from Manipur, Phag from Haryana and so on.
So I feel blessed and to be a part of this production and happy that my hard work, dedication and sense of choreographies put together came as a successful production.
My sincere thanks to Principal Sr Ophilia Lobo, Corporate Manager, Sr Erasma for their support and encouragement.
Thank you so much. Please keep me always in your prayers.
