June 16: Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard- Tim Notke.
St Theresa’s School conducted an orientation program for the parents in the school auditorium on 10th June, 2023.
The program began with the Theresian choir singing a prayer song.
Later the students welcomed the gathering with a mesmerising dance performance.
Mrs Stella Roche, Counsellor, and a parent of this own School was the chief guest for the day’s program. She helped the parents understand the five love languages i.e. Words of affirmation, Gifts, Quality time, Service and touch. Mrs Roche requested the parents to always remember KFC that a parent should always be kind, firm or disciplined and consistent with their child. She also stressed to empower the child to take charge of life.
The parents clarified their doubts regarding positive affirmations for their child.
The School Principal, Sr Lourdes, addressed the gathering regarding the schools rules and regulations.
She requested the parents to cooperate with the teachers in order to help the child learn discipline and values which will help them growing up.
St Theresa’s school provides an array of opportunities of growth for learning and for discovering themselves. The new parents of the school benefitted in getting to know the working of the school from this orientation program.
