The school Principal Sr Lourdes, Vice Principal Sr Reena, Coordinator of primary section Miss Sharon Fernandes and the school faculty members were present for the program. The principal stressed on the importance of discipline and highlighted how yoga is one way to practice this in our lives. The resource person, Mrs Kavitha Ashok was thanked with a sapling.
Today is World Music Day too. Music can be a powerful force for social change. Hoping that the celebration of Environment Day would bring about a change in the mind-set of the Theresians on caring for our Mother Earth, the environment day was observed today after the yoga program. Students were made aware of saving environment through a play. Through this the students and the faculty were motivated to have love for the nature and give importance to the environment.
