June 13: Environment day is celebrated worldwide on June 5th. The main purpose of the celebration was to spread awareness about the need to protect the environment.
Likewise on 11th June this day was celebrated in Maryvale Hr. Pry. School, Kinnigoli to spread the importance of the environment to the students. The program was started with a prayer. The celebration was inaugurated by Chief Guest Sr. Maureen BS, The Correspondent of Maryvale School and Sr. Manisha Rodrigues, The Headmistress of Maryvale Hr. Pry. School by watering the saplings. The various activities related to Environment were performed by 7th std. students under the guidance of Mrs. Lona Dsouza. Sr. Maureen BS spoke with the students on the ways to protect our environment. The celebration was concluded with vote of thanks by Gowrinandan.
Overall the Environment day celebration in our school was a great success and we hope that our students will inspire more people to take action towards protecting the environment.
