June 14: St. Raymond's High School celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm and a series of engaging activities.
The programme commenced with a heartfelt prayer, setting a reflective and respectful tone for the day's events. Following this, a speech was delivered on the significance of World Environment Day, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation and the role each individual plays in protecting our planet.
To symbolize their commitment to the environment, students and teachers tied balloons to trees, adding a festive and colorful touch to the celebration. Additionally, saplings were planted around the school grounds, reinforcing the message of growth and sustainability.
A poignant poem on World Environment Day was read, capturing the essence of the occasion and inspiring all present to take action towards a greener future.
