August 29: The District Level junior and senior boys' and girls' table tennis tournament was held at Sacred Hearts' Higher Primary English Medium School, Kulshekar, on August 16, 2024. The event was inaugurated by Sr Dr Sr Mariola BS, the President and Education Coordinator of Mangalore Province, Mr Vedavyas Kamath the Chief Guest and MLA of Mangalore South, and local Corporator Mr Kishore Kottari. The program was graced by District-Level Physical Education Minister Mr Bhuvanesh, Mangalore South Physical Education Supervisor Mrs Lilly Pais, School Correspondent Sr Juliana Monis, and PTA Vice President Mr Arun DSouza. Headmistress Sr Anitha welcomed the gathering. Fr Vijay blessed the tournament. The Chief Guest motivated the competitors with words emphasizing that sports is not solely about winning or losing, but about learning, growing, and developing discipline.
