Sep 02: Tricolor flag is to be hoisted on Independence Day. At 8.45a.m. All the staff and students of Jyothi Institutions were ready for the celebration. Sr. Ivilla the Principal of Jyothi PU College hoisted the flag and the students set their band and poised themselves for the march past. Both the P.E.Teachers trained the students for the day’s programme. Students performed some dances and gave speeches on the importance of the day.
Dr Usha Mohan a counselor of Vanitha Sahaya Vani and Associate of Lions Club spoke on India‘s heritage and the duties of a citizen of the country. The students were made to renew their love to Mother Land. At the end the Lions club members offered soft drinks to the students.
