“It takes a big heart to help and shape the little minds”.
Sacred Hearts’ Higher Primary School, Kulshekar witnessed farewell of three twinkling stars who moulded the young minds and retired from the selfless service. The dedicated services of Mrs Mohini Salian, Mr John Gilbert D’Souza and Mrs Juliana Mabel DSouza were highly appreciated during the farewell function held on 23rd November 2020. Few of their family members were present for the function.
Rev Sr Lavita, the Headmistress and the Staff welcomed the dignitaries traditionally along with the band and diyas. Rev Sr Shubha B S, the Educational Coordinator of Mangalore Province presided over the function. Sr Ida Janet, the Campus Manager and Sr Norma, the KG Supervisor witnessed the programme. Sr Lavita the Headmistress welcomed and in her opening message said that these three retired staff were the ‘boon’ to school, their foot prints cannot be erased in the history of “Sacred Hearts” Kulshekar.
On behalf of the Management of Bethany Educational Society, Rev Sr Shubha B S read out the appreciation letter sent by the BES Secretary, Rev Sr Mariette B S and thanked each one of them for their loving and devoted services to the Institution.
The school offered them a heart touching Scroll of Honour and armfully thanked for their generosity, commitment and dedication. Mr John and Mrs Mohini shared their sentiments of gratitude.
“Great is the art of beginning, but greater the art is of ending”.
The Management and staff wished them joyful, peace filled and contented retired life and shared the meals together.
