On 30 September 2016, Disaster Management and Rehabilitation of Mizoram organized state level painting competition on “Disaster v/s Collective Strength on Disaster Risk Management begins at Home/School”. 40 students from Mary Mount School, Aizawl, participated in the competition out of which two students - C. Lalchhandami, Class VII C and H. Lalduhsaki Class VIII B bagged 2nd and 3rd prize respectively, consisting of certificate and cash prize of ` 4000 and ` 3000 each.
